I tihnk this is a mere expression of isolation (not loneliness). By isolation I mean that every individual in the world is unique, there is no another man or woman sharing the very same characteristics. Such an uniqueness is scary. Because we do know that I-sharing is immposible, no single individual knows what we really think, feel, or live.
The photograph above is clearly presenting the singleness of us. The model seems so weak, isolated, and "little" that we feel how we are in our world. A clever use of dark areas in the photograph is the one of the most powerful characteristics of the presented work. The same is als true for the light areas.
As a summary, it is great, inspiring work. Congratulations.
Soon as i looked upon this picture i was lost for words. The minimal colours the artist/photographer has used has created a piece with no story, which gives it a unique special touch. I also love how it's as if the stranger is in the spotlight, and he is using only little of the space yet he is immediately the subject. The dim lighting hitting the dust makes the whole piece have a extraordinary edge and touch. Many different interpretations can come about when viewing, which is why it is definitely one of my favourite pictures.
Ive lost words. such amazing and strong emotion in something so simple. absolutely breath taking. thank you very very much for sharing this with us. wow
Hey mate.I would like to use this or another pictures of yours as a facebook cover.Of course some cropping might be done.I`m waiting for your response.
The first thought I had upon seeing this one and its title was, "The only person who would most want to do so was the only person rejected and sent away." He's the only one in a vast void, empty but for just enough light to see the futility of his situation. This futility brightens only with distance, as if he truly has no option but to walk away.

Originality at it's best.
